Commercials
My commercial showreel, with a snippet of many award winning radio commercials
This is one of a few White Rose Shopping Centre commercials featuring Neil Morrissey and Lesley Ash. Neil almost ate a full packet of biscuits recording this one!
The opening commercial for the new Warner Village cinema complex on Kirkstall Road, Leeds. (Now The Vue) The ad followed a series of short stories, cutting between them much in the same style as the big movie 'Pulp Fiction' from 4 years earlier.
This was a 3 part campaign for Majestyk Nightclub, Leeds. Voiced by the delightful John Hannah, who ended up taking direction in temperature and various colours ... who knows what a little more purple means ... well, John does.
The 3 part campaign was so successful, they wanted to go massive! So, Majestyk bought the whole ad breaks for the Friday Night Kiss and we produced a full 3 minute ad using elements from the first 3 and a track called Latin Thing (listen here). It was also played in the club at midnight every night for the start of the big laser show.
Peter Dickson, expertly informing the people of Leeds about the new Self Assessment on behalf of KPMG.
Back when cars had letters as registations, Ringway had this creative message to promote the 'R' reg.
Strictly speaking, these might be considered Promos but I think they're more like station led advertising. These are creative storyboards written by Dave Monk for the Wireless Group to push DAB Radio.
Another club add for the opening of the new Club Icon in Wakefield. Voiced by Dani Behr, it's a slightly 'risque' ad that I'm not sure would be allowed these days!
Property rental, gangster style.
Pushing ticket sales for The Rugby League World Club Championship game, Bradford Bulls Vs Penrith Panthers.
Every now and then stations like to remind their listeners what a valuable resource they can be and here's a lovely creative way of doing just that.
